What platform do you currently use?

It'd be interesting to canvas readers' preference for their trading platform. If I've missed any, feel free to add. Pros and cons?

I use MT4 for charting for the simple reason it's what I've always used for Forex trading. I spent a couple of years trading with XTrader and TTPro for trading Bonds.

I'm gradually picking up the style of cTrader and I'm slowly coming round to the style of it. I like you can drag a chart out of the main window.

I'm currently trying to get to grips with cTrader from ICM. I'm not yet sure how cAlgo and cTrader go together except for writing cBots and Indicators, both will show charts from the same account. I suppose I will have to spend some time on the help pages although a lot of seems quite straightforward. I do like the fact that almost any time frame is available and mql4 code can be converted into C# for cTrader.

    Hi Tony,

I'm also trying cTrader with ICM. I haven't yet found a decent pip range chart indicator for cTrader which is slowing down my move across.

If you can get the source code for the one you're using you can convert it for cTrader

Just thought I'd give a brief update. I've found an excellent site that will convert 85% of MT4 indicators to CTrader C+ language. I've tried it successfully with my camarilla indicator. Got a small issue with some rounding that I'm trying to solve.

That is a neat backround! Is that unique to cTrader?

    Hi Aaron,

cTrader appears to allow you to have a custom backround which MT4 cannot do.
